The 12" Dual 4 ohms Reserve Series Subwoofer handles 1800 watts peak and 900 watts RMS. It features a spruce pulp cone with UV and chemical protection, an extended excursion poly-ether foam surround, and a non-magnetic die-cast aluminum frame. The 4-layer voice coil has direct connect wire and high-temperature adhesives resist thermal failure. Dual poly-cotton suspension dampens accelerations, while the vented T-yoke and frame reduce heat build-up.
Specifications include a 3" high-temperature aluminum voice coil, 16.5 mm Xmax, and double-stacked ferrite magnet motor structure. It fits in sealed boxes of 0.75 to 1.25 cubic feet and ported boxes of 1.75 to 2.25 cubic feet, with a top-mount depth of 7.375" and cutout diameter of 11.12".
